Cheyenne, Wyoming

Public art, sampling beer, great farmer's market.... what's not to love? Cheyenne, Wyoming definitely has that Western town and a brave frontier vibe going. They've put up public art like a series of boots decorated by local artists and sculptures. "Play Me Project" is a cool idea that took shape in Texas and has spread... old piano's are painted and decorated by local artists and placed in public places for any one to play. Cheyenne has one on the square and it is used. If you can tinkle the ivories, sit down and play a tune. Folks appreciate it. The farmer's market has the town square bustling with locals and visitors alike and recently a craft beer sampling emporium, Accomplice Beer Company, opened and it's located right by the square. A trolley tour gives you an overall view of the town and it's history. You can spend a day or a week.... go see the art and explore!
